I tried reading it, but many of the words were unclear. I spent a few moments deciphering it, and only two spots remained unclear. I quickly wrote down the poem and then carried on my merry way, wondering what the heck it was doing on the stalls of a bathroom, of all places.
A few weeks ago, my friends and I were going to go out of the school for lunch. Earlier, I had visited the bathroom, and though I hate using the stalls, I regrettably had no choice over the call of nature. Usually, I try to avoid looking at what was carved into the walls because, well... you know. Its immature and pretty disgusting. I saw a poem carved into the wall. The stall had been painted over, but it was a poor job, so I could still see most of the poem.

One night, I was suddenly stricken with a wave of sentimentality. This wasn't your ordinary wave of sentimentality, no. It penetrated all of me and turned my thoughts into a longing, like I had suddenly aged sixty years and was thinking back on what I could have done.
It was a super wave of sentimentality. Now, usually you can expect wit, humor, and all but seriousness from these posts, but right now, I feel the need to write about something going on in my life and my feelings about it. If you don't care, don't read on. I have nothing more to say.

This is Luke, posting to my reaL Nlog! Today is the best day in the history of today! Know why? Because I'm planning and accomplishing things! Like what, you may ask or think. Like merit badges! Love life! Jobs! Conquering the world! Just kidding about most of those. I am getting merit badges and I'm getting jobs (not a job, but jobs) done! Friday and Saturday is planned out! Tuesday and Wednesday as well! Thursday is my unplannable day. Except the fact that it is an A day. That's set in clay, which is changable. Enjoy a short poem my muwauh! This is a poem, about a dog, most likes to sit on top a log. The End! Enjoyable? Si? Comprende? No? Okay then, don't worry about it. If yes, then Good Job! That's the end of today's reaL Nlog post! Go out and grab yourself some eggnog, because it's a party tonight! |
A reaL Nlog?I'll be honest, I don't even know what that's about. This is where I post about my life and such. Sifting Mechanism
