Second, background info
The idea of this story is someone moves in with me without my consent. Now, if you start reading this and say, "OMIGOSH! I CAN'T BELIEVE HE THINKS THAT ABOUT SO-AND-SO!" you are obviously mistaken. Also, if you are reading this and start thinking, "OMIGOSH! I CAN'T BELIEVE HE'S TALKING ABOUT ME!" you are wrong. The antagonist in this story is an embodiment of several things. I took everything that irks me, all the problems in my life, and anything that frustrates my attempts at living peacefully, turned them into characteristics, stuffed them into a loathsome human filled with indescribable foulness, and created fantasy situations to adequately display my disgust for these things and my resulting thoughts. I would like to say how hard it was to create this, and all the incredibly difficult decisions I had to make, but it actually came together rather easily. For example, the name was probably the easiest part. I was thinking, 'What could his name be?' (it's a guy because I'm a guy and why would a girl be my room mate?). I went through two names, both of which I can't remember now, until I came across Drake. Why? Drake sounds like a particular sorcerer in a very popular book and movie series that is a very evil person *cough cough*. Not only that, but the reminds me of a show I hated throughout my youth. Oh, and if you type "define:drake" into Google, it comes up with a male duck. What should have come up was a type of dragon. Why can't Google obey me?
