I'm actually in a surprisingly good mood right now. I just read through all of the senior's signatures in my Annus Liber (actual name), and though it made me sad, what they had to say really boosted my spirits, and I'm not gonna lie, it was something that I really have needed lately.
To any senior that perchances upon my blog, YOU ARE SO AWESOME AND NEVER FORGET THAT YOU ARE INFINITELY IMPORTANT TO SO MANY PEOPLE! Also, if you feel the need, drop me a message through the contact-thing-a-ma-bob, I'll be more than glad to hear what you have to say!
Take care, you special people, you!
P.S. I'll clean up this website (fix links, create links, patch pages, clean clutter, maybe decorate a little bit, ect.) after the school ends. Trust me, I am really looking forward to working on this again. I just love this website so much.
P.P.S. Just thought I'd give you a little update on some statistics. In the past year (from May 29, 2013 to May 29, 2014), this website has had 458 hits, as in, it has been visited 458 times. Of that 458, 82.3% have been new new visitors and 17.7% have been returning. 374 different people visited my website in the past year. 1,656 page views, which makes 3.5 pages per user on average. Average session time (the time spent on my website) has been 4 minutes and 45 seconds. Just in case you wanted to know.
Thank you guys for making my day! I might drop a total statistic thingy (maybe broke down by years) in a PoL Blog sometime soon. Here's to the next year!
5/22/14 - Two more weeks, and then I'm done. Just twooooo more weeks!
5/10/14 - The first of my AP tests is over. Summer is steadily creeping towards me and I'm really excited. This website is really going to shoot off once I actually have free time to do the things I want to do. It'll be a while, but I hope the wait will be worth it. Thank you for your continuous support.
5/1/14 - Welcome to May! AP tests are just a short week away! Time will be eaten by studying and other generally busy stuff! Yay!
4/12/14 - A new reaL Nlog post about, you guessed it, cleaning my room, titled Clean Room VI: The Return of the Spider. Enjoy1
4/10/14 - Holy Hannibal, what happened yesterday? All of a sudden, 100 viewers. What what what? I can't even handle the thought that 100 people saw this website yesterday. Who's been looking at my website?
Google Analytics takes a biiit longer to process information, so I won't be able to confirm this crazy number with it until probably tomorrow or Saturday.
Who are you? Who, who? Who, who?
I really wanna know.
4/7/14 - I'm afraid it'll be just a tiny bit longer before I'm able to post any new content. I'm sure I have a few spare poems or stories around here somewhere that I can quickly edit and post when I have the time, but probably not this week. I'll also be extremely busy until the AP tests roll around and hopefully not crush my dreams, which will be around May 15-ish. Until then, I'll try to get a few somethings posted up, but no guarantees. Continue to tune in every now and then to see if I keep true to what I'm not promising.
Thank you for your continued support despite this hiatus. It's not permanent, I promise. I have big plans once school gets out for summer. But until then, my plans will have to be shelved and gather dust. I might post some updates on my life on my reaL Nlog without warning every now-and-then. They'll be short but sweet and will have to suffice. Maybe a poem or two before the months out. Probably an essay.
So, I'll be seeing you later!
3/4/14 - So, just how long will I be gone, you may be asking? There won't be anything this week, or probably the rest of this month. I may find time next week to post a few poems or stories, but the chances are I'll be busy until the end of March, and about half of April.
I'll probably post a story or poem by the end of the month, but I won't have the chance to do anything particularly big until school ends. But when it does, you can bet I'll be all over this website like an ant colony on a picnic!
2/26/14 - I'm sorry, but all plans for this website are being put on hold indefinitely. I've been really stressed out lately because of all the things and I need to do, and I really don't need something else to worry about. I'm trying to remove stressors, and this is one of them.
I still love this website and I love writing, but it still adds stress onto me. I just need a short break. See you again later!
2/24/14 - When I said tomorrow, I meant not tomorrow. Sorry if I got your hopes up. Sorry that it took so long to do this. Sorry that my life is being absorbed by stuff for the next few weeks. Of course, I still might post something in my "free" time.
Or not. I don't know, you don't know. The only person who knows is someone who lives in the fifth dimension.
2/14/14 - Why are you here? Go out and enjoy your night. There'll be stuff tomorrow, so enjoy today!
1/27/14 - I'm still trying to get used to writing 2014 instead of 2013.
So I've got a larger haul than usual tonight. First and foremost, the WINNER OF THE BANANA BONANZA! It's been a long time, but I think it's been worth the wait.
Next in line is actually two essays I wrote under one title, On Mood and Isolation. These essays actually didn't turn out the way I expected them, but I really like it.
I've had some hesitation on publishing this poem, but I decided to release it in anticipation of my next essay, On Barriers and Hesitation. I'm excited for it, but I don't know when I'll release it. The name of the poem is Love Poems. Part satirical, part serious. I won't tell you who I was thinking of when I wrote it, though. That's for me to know and for you to never find out.
Enjoy!
1/25/14 - So as it turns out, I've been extremely busy with school this month, more so than previous months. However, Finals Week is over as of yesterday, so I suspect I'll have some free time to get around to doing thing that I wanted to do.
I have a few essays planned that I'm really excited about (Titles: On Mood and Isolation and On Barriers and Hesitation) , and I might have a few poems to publish (no specific titles). If I have enough time, it's possible I might publish a story (or a misc).
So, be expecting some new stuff soon
1/1/14 - P.S. I'll be putting a new deleted scene underneath Under Fresh Supervision sometime eventually maybe later this week.
12/31/13 - I'm celebrating the New Year with a PoL Blog post. Check it out, and then go enjoy your New Year!
12/30/13 - I was going over some past forms and the answers you gave. I enjoyed reading the things you funny people said, but that's not the point of this announcement. I wrote one of the stories I promised you in one of my forms. I believe it is called An Extensive, Superfluous, Humorous, and Unfounded Tale about How I Lost a Penny. I am trying to poke fun at some of the romantic authors with this, but also to test out just how well I can describe different things. Also, I really like to make long sentences, so this was fun all the way through.
Enjoy!
SURPRISE! I also just wrote a reaL Nlog post called Ha, Funny Story There (Copyrighted?) I didn't expect to write it tonight, but I had a few extra moments. Enjoy!
I just wanted to leave a quick note. First, I love to hear feedback from you, from stories to how the website is run to the design.
Second, I've posted a deleted scene underneath Under Fresh Supervision. You should go check it out, if you dare.
12/25/13 - Merry Christmas! I'd like to give you a very special Christmas present from me! It's been a long time coming, and I'm proud to "present" it to you!
It hasn't been edited a lot, though, so I expect it will undergo a few major edits throughout the next few months. But here it is. If you catch anything wrong with it, send me a message with the messed up part quoted, and I'll fix it!
Merry Christmas, and a happy New Year!
12/23/13 - I feel like a champ. I just wrote a new edition to An Unwelcome Guest in under an hour. I just hope it's good enough for writing it in under an hour!
The only reason I actually wrote it is because I was feeling like how Luke is feeling at the beginning of it. I really just want to get out into Nature and be alone for an hour. Alas, it's winter and cold and I'm frankly pretty busy. Not too busy, not too un-busy.
All I can say is that you had better be expecting something later this week. I'm excited for it, so you should be excited too. It'll be great. Trust me!
12/21/13 - Just a short poem I wrote called A Scab. It was just something I wrote one night a few weeks ago. I promise I'll have more later next week, but I am still incredibly busy right now, and I just don't have the creative juices flowing.
Expect the first ghost when the clock strikes one!
12/16/13 - All plans for this website are, unfortunately, on hold for the rest of the week. I'm far too busy and I need to work on my work ethic. Consider this a temporary break from the Internet for a week (or, at least, most of the week).
12/11/13 - Housecleaning! Fixed a few minor mishaps and changed some descriptions, explanations, clarifications, ect.
I'd love to hear from you. You can contact me through the Contact/Feedback page or on Facebook. I'm rather busy, so I probably won't be getting anything published this weekend or next week. But, by golly, I'll be doing stuff over Christmas vacation!
That's a promise you can take to the bank.
But I wouldn't because the bank will be all like, "Why did you bring that to us? We won't pay you for it or validate it's sincerity. You do realize that's just an expression and not something you should really do, right?"
That is totally not an autobiographical experience and whoever tells you otherwise is a liar.
12/10/13 - Nothing new, but I did finally put my Doctor Who Fan-Fic onto the Stories page. Also, I added the picture made from a very talented friend. I really like it.
12/3/13 - Words a poet loves to hear: "Your poem awed everyone to silence." Words a poet hates to hear: "but it still didn't win."
Yeah, my poem didn't get first place. It did, however, get in the top five. I also entered The Parrot, but it only got in the top 20. Apparently, half the class didn't catch the subtleties in it.
The poem I spent around 50 hours on is called When You Die. I really enjoyed writing it and I hope it makes as much impression on you as you read it as it made on me as I wrote it.
Side note, if my brain ever had a baby, this would be it. Just thought you should know.
