Haikus
A stream bubbles on
with life smiling all around;
safe amongst the hills
Willows are giving
Filtered light on water there
Sunlight dances off.
Soft moss comforts it
filled with colored, pebbled rocks.
the Stream bubbles on.
A world without laws
just pure imagination
within our mind's eye
with life smiling all around;
safe amongst the hills
Willows are giving
Filtered light on water there
Sunlight dances off.
Soft moss comforts it
filled with colored, pebbled rocks.
the Stream bubbles on.
A world without laws
just pure imagination
within our mind's eye
A tanka poem is similar to a haiku, but it has five lines. Lines one-three are the same as a haiku, but lines four and five have seven syllables.
Tankas
A lonely bird cries
with cold rock formations here. The wind tore this land, lonely, it howls across rock. Small creatures run for cover. |
Scraggly bushes rest
Amid the wind-strewn, sharp rocks A bird rests on stone The desolate landscape sighs Guarded by foreboding mount’s. |
